Spare Integra-TR modems: purchasing for a telemetry network
For a distributed network, a backup radio modem is useful when it can be prepared for the desired node and included in a clear replacement procedure. Purchasing multiple identical boxes does not solve the issue of different configurations, roles and sets on the facilities. We will understand how to make an application for Integra-TR stock for the serviced network.

Make a map of existing devices
For each node, write down the name of the object, the full modem code, the role and the connected equipment. If there are multiple bands or generations on the network, divide them in the statements. The general recording of "Integra-TR, ten objects" is not sufficient for the selection of spare equipment.
Specify which nodes have the same accepted configuration and where separate parameters are needed. It is useful to keep a link to the document with settings and the date of its verification. The reserve must be matched to this card; the appearance of the machine and even the coincidence of a part of the code do not determine the entire set of replacement conditions.
Procurement work statement
| Group of nodes | Data for quotation |
|---|---|
| Base | Model, role, configuration and verification requirements |
| Remote objects | Configuration of modems and controller models |
| Serviced kits | Cables, power supply, mounts and connectors |
| Reserve. | For which groups is suitable for each proposed device |
| Delivery | Configuration number, recipient and city |
The number of reserves is selected for maintenance
The number of spare modems depends on the differences in equipment, access to facilities, delivery times and accepted maintenance scheme. Universal reserve interest does not replace this estimate. Sometimes one group of nodes requires a separate configuration, although its devices look similar to the rest.
For a remote object, consider the departure time and the ability to prepare a replacement in advance. If there are no accessories in place, a spare device may be needed along with a proven cable or power supply. The statement should show which positions are included in the mobile kit of the service group, and which remain on the site.
Candidate from the catalog is checked for each group
The Integra-TR 242-4018-630 has its own product card in our catalog. To be included in the reserve, confirm which installed nodes it belongs to. The family data in different editions of the manual is not proof of interchangeability of all codes.
The state, hardware version and batch set are fixed in the quotation. The catalog photo shows a model of the family; it does not confirm the serial number, the current balance, or the same configuration of all specimens. For backup purchase, this information is more useful than the wording “universal spare modem”.
Acceptance and storage must remain ready
Upon receipt, compare the marking with the statement and conduct an agreed exchange check. Write down for which group of nodes the device is accepted, what configuration is checked and what accessories belong to the kit. If the configuration of the working network changes, the status of the backup apparatus is also reviewed.
Separate the reserve, the machines in operation and the devices waiting to be inspected after returning from the facility. This helps not to replace a modem with an unknown configuration or a missing cable. Periodic inspections and storage conditions are determined by the equipment documentation and the procedure of the network owner.
Agree on a replacement scenario
A useful reserve is associated with a short procedure: who determines the desired configuration, who prepares the configuration and how the work is confirmed after installation. This procedure relates to the organization of service and does not require the publication of work passwords or network secrets in the application to the provider.
“Integra-TR backups are needed for [the network]. We attach the established codes and roles of nodes. For each group, please indicate the appropriate configuration, accessories and verification program. The number is [by group], the receipt is [the city].
The current availability and possibility of delivery of the batch will be confirmed upon request. Related material: Replacement of the modem in the existing network, complete set, check-up.
Request for delivery and city of receipt
To buy Integra-TR for an object or lot, specify the city: Moscow, Kazan, Perm, Astana or another point in Russia and Kazakhstan. Attach the full designation, the number by configuration and the requirements for the kit. The cost, current availability and delivery conditions will be confirmed in the quotation.
Questions before ordering
Does one backup modem fit all Integra nodes?
This is confirmed by the configuration map and network settings. The common family name does not establish interchangeability.
How to determine the number of spare devices?
Configuration groups, access to facilities, delivery times and accepted service procedures are taken into account. There is no general mandatory interest.
What to check after changing the network?
Conformity of the configuration of the backup apparatus to the existing nodes, a set of accessories and the accepted procedure for checking the exchange.
