The detector inside the security system
COLT PI in our warehouse position is a volumetric optical-electronic security detector for an enclosed space. It monitors movement in the designated area and transmits the event to a compatible receiver. This is a suitable purchase item when equipping the premises or replacing the agreed sensor of the existing system. Such a detector is not obliged to send an SMS or record a video to the owner: these functions apply to other devices. In the application, specify whether you need one sensor or a set for several separate rooms.
How to understand the designation PET
In our card, the PET option is 27 kg. It is a designation of the animal counting function under predetermined conditions, not the promise of no anxiety in any animal behavior. For a specific configuration, you need an instruction and a provided installation. Take into account the plan of the room, furniture and features of its use. Do not transfer the settings from a similar sensor just because of the same body. The complete marking, kit and applicable instructions are agreed before ordering. Numerical settings and height of installation should relate to the proposed product.
Selection to an existing instrument
When replacing, the model of the receiving device, the scheme of the plume used and the designation of the former detector are useful. For approval check power supply, alarm output and provided control of the autopsy. The similar appearance of the two sensors does not confirm the same connection. If a GSM informant is purchased at the same time, compatibility is considered using the documentation of both devices. The bracket and fastener should also be explicitly indicated in the quotation.
Acceptance after equipping the premises
Furniture placement plan and normal use of the premises help to make a check before the system is put into operation. Check the detection of the event, its reception device and further notification, if it is included in the project. For rooms with animals, the agreed PET conditions are checked separately. The result of a single test is not made into a promise of work in all future conditions: after a substantial reshuffle, the system is re-evaluated. The specification retains the sensor model, the number of products, the mounting set and belonging to the desired room. This simplifies the maintenance and subsequent purchase of the same equipment.
